Flint-Roasted Coffee and Locally Sourced Ingredients, Savory and Sweet Crepes, Homemade Food.

our history

The Flint Crepe Company has been serving crepes and coffee to the Flint community since 2008. We started with a mobile crepe cart that showed up regularly at the Flint Farmer’s Market and traveled around town. In late Fall of 2011, we opened our current storefront on S. Saginaw St. We specialize in delicious and interesting crepes and in providing a traditional Italian-style coffee menu.

what's a crepe?

The easiest way to describe a crepe is as a thin large pancake… only without the sugar. Anything can go on a crepe… just like a tortilla. You can fill it with things like fresh fruit, sauces, chocolate, or savory toppings you’d use in a meal such as cheese, potatoes, meats, or vegetables. So, it’s neither a pancake or tortilla… it’s, well… a crepe!

our recipes...

  • made from scratch using wholesome ingredients
  • sourced from local producers operating within organic principles
  • designed around our region and the seasons
  • can be customized according to your diet (vegetarian, meat-lover, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, on a budget, etc.)

My husband and I love coming to the Flint Crepe Company! We enjoy the atmosphere and food at least twice a month 😊.... The only thing that I would suggest is asking customers if they are part of the rewards program. I've missed out on earning stars because the cashier has exited the screen before I can type in my phone number.read more

Great restaurant in downtown Flint! The crepes are excellent, and their robust flavors undoubtedly owe to the Company's... use of high-quality ingredients. Delicious drinks are also offered. The atmosphere is relaxed. I really like how the table tops are made with pages from books; on this visit, the pages on my table were from a dictionary.read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! This is a must go place if you come to Flint. The price is affordable, the food is GREAT, and... coffee is pretty good. The only thing I (might) have some complaints was not family friendly. If you have a infant or toddler, I don't think that seating arrangement can be accommodated.read more

The Monte Cristo was amazing! The raspberry jam on the warm eggs, ham and cheese was phenomenal. Went there later in... the evening and had great service from a young and enthusiastic crew. Would recommend this place for a quick delicious meal. Plus they carry some of the best Michigan honey I've ever had from Withers Mountain honey farm.read more

My wife and I went in on small business Saturday. Although we have eaten at other places downtown this was our first... here. First of all walking in this place has a great low-key coffee house vibe and it smells delicious in there. While standing in line we noticed some products that seemed to be made from recycled waste. Awesome. Then the menu is full of all kinds of specialty drinks even some from other local places. We both had the egg and cheese crepe with bacon added. Fantastic! They were eggy, cheesy and a perfectly cooked amount of bacon. The crepes were wonderful. They were a mix of soft insides with a beautiful crisp outside. Even the dusting of seasoning on top was a great complement. We will be back.read more
